Gender Discrimination in Architecture

I am interested in researching the gender discrimination in architecture work force because personally, I am thinking about going to major in architecture and hopefully join the workforce.  Since I want to be a part of the architecture work force, I wants to know what are some possible risks that I eventually will need to take. 

Sub questions:

• what is the percentage of women and men in the architecture industry?  
• Which gender has a bigger percentage and why?  
• Does gender discrimination really exist in this industry?  
• Is there a stereotype that women are less credible than men while other determinants stay the same?  
• How does women architecture balance between family and career?
