I have spent most my live being told I had a multitude of mental disorders such as, ADD, ADHD, and Asperger Syndrome. This depressed me until I learned of all the CEO's with the same mental disorders. I learned on the web site Business insider in the article 15 CEOs With Learning Disabilities that fifteen of the most successful business owners, including Richard Branson and Steve Jobs, all have mental disorders. It also said that 35% of all CEOs and VPs at companies all have some form of mental disorder.
The reason such a high percentage of them are so successful is because they all have to work harder to achieve their goals then the rest of the population. They learn to deal with failure and grinding through hard tasks which are important skills in the real world. They also get very good at dealing with people because they need to ask people for help very often to compete schoolwork. All of these skills are vital for Management positions.
