The Power House Coffee Shop

There are many coffee stores in the United States such as Caribou, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts and many more.  This coffee shops are divided into large chain coffee shops and others which are small proprietorship's that are noncommercial.  Examining how a coffee shop works and strive depends on many variables.  One coffee shop that has consistency and  continual profit and expansion is the great Starbucks.  According to the Starbucks website, their first coffee shop opened in 1971 in the Pike Place Market of Seattle.  Howard Schultz, now the president and CEO, at first wanted to bring back the rich history of Italian coffee shops back to America.  He also wanted to bring back true connections between people over the rich history of coffee.  With this in mind, he had created the greatest coffee chain the world has ever seen.
There are now over 21,000 Starbucks across 65 nations.  How has this come to be?  America in the 1980s was missing something that was really needed, a place where people can indulge in great coffee while expanding thoughts with the interactions other humans.  Starbucks, once a small coffee shop, had exactly that.  Not only did it have the atmosphere, it had the quality coffee that either breaks or makes a coffee companies career.  Unlike Dunkin Donuts, McDonald's or even small restaurants, Starbucks had and still has one of the highest grade coffee beans in the world.  Starbucks is very picky with their choice of coffee beans and only pick the best of the best.  they also taste over 1000 cups of coffee each day to ensure their customers that they are getting the best of the best.  Starbucks is the powerhouse of coffee and will continue to stay that way if they keep on delivering the best coffee in the world.  But the small town coffee shops is what fuels the American coffee industry.
