Entrepreneur+Hard work=Successful Business

Our groups overall research question is “what makes a company successful”. My hypothesis for my specific topic is that companies are successful, because entrepreneurs are innovative and have a strong drive behind them to make their company rise to the top. I have been interested in Entrepreneurs and Venture Capitalists ever since I took the class “Entrepreneurship” my junior year. I competed in the event Entrepreneurship for BPA my Junior year, and placed first. I want to be able to differentiate between a successful and unsuccessful Entrepreneur.
Questions I hope to Answer:

  1. What personality characteristics are common in a successful Entrepreneur.
  2. If an Entrepreneur isn't successful, Why?
  3. Why don’t people Major in Entrepreneurship instead of a normal Business degree?
  4. What makes an entrepreneur successful?
  5. Do most Entrepreneurs come from families with money?
